1. Who we are
Minnow Lake ("the app," "we," "us") is a private, invite-only app for the members of one family, built around our lake cabin in Danbury, Wisconsin. It is not a commercial service: there are no ads, no analytics for marketing, no data brokers, and your information is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
2. Information we collect
Everything below is collected only so the app can work, and only from invited family members:
- Account details — your email address and the name you choose to display.
- Things you share — posts, comments, photos, golf scores, and bird-call recordings you choose to add to the family feed.
- Location (while using the app) — used on your device to point the compass toward the cabin and to show a welcome message when you arrive at the lake. Location is only accessed while the app is open, is never tracked in the background, and is not stored on our servers.
- Push notification token — a device identifier so the app can notify you about new family posts, if you turn notifications on.
3. How your information is used
- To show your posts, photos, and comments to the other invited family members.
- To identify birds and wildlife in recordings and photos you submit (processed by our server and AI services acting on our behalf; recordings and photos you share are visible to the family).
- To send notifications you've opted into.
Your data is never used for advertising, profiling, or tracking across other apps or websites.
4. Where it lives
Content and account data are stored with Supabase (our hosting provider) in a private database with access restricted to invited family members. Photos and recordings live in private storage buckets that require a signed-in family account to view.
5. Deleting your account and data
In the app, go to Edit profile → Delete my account. This permanently deletes your account, posts, photos, comments, and recordings. You can also email fred@fleetidy.com and we'll delete it for you.
6. Children
The app is intended for members of our family and accounts exist by invitation only. Invitations for minors are created and overseen by their parents.
7. Changes and contact
